Have a Royally Good Time at Eden Shopping Centre with Celebrations for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
To mark Her Majesty The Queen’s 70th anniversary as Monarch, Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe has announced a week long line-up of themed activities starting from Monday 30th May until Sunday 5th June.
Craft Workshops
Little ones will have a royally good time with Eden’s FREE craft activities, located opposite Boots from Monday 30th May – Friday 3rd June.
Royal Academy
In this first interactive workshop, girls and boys will learn what it takes to become real life Princes and Princesses. Watch on as they dress up in super cute costumes in front of a glamorous backdrop fit for Royalty. Once they look the part it’s time to have fun learning the etiquette!
Peg Doll Pals
Kids will have fun bringing their favourite Royals to life by decorating their own peg dolls. Will they opt for William, Kate or Queen Elizabeth herself? Or perhaps they’ll prefer making a Buckingham Palace Guard with their traditional red tunics and bearskin hats. Either way, they’ll bring their creations home with them to play with for hours on end.
Great British Bakes
If there were an occasion that Royal icing was made for, it would be this! Your little ones eyes will light up as they decorate cupcakes with sprinkles and icing in the colours of the British flag. The perfect Royal treat!
Commemorative Keepsakes
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is an unprecedented event in British history, so it’s only right to celebrate it with a commemorative keepsake. In this creative workshop children can decorate their own plates to take home ready for you to display with pride.

As another way to celebrate and remember The Queen’s 70th anniversary as Monarch, little ones will decorate a castle picture frame. Whether you snap a picture of them at Eden’s craft workshops or you take a family selfie at your own Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the castle picture frame is the perfect place to store your memories.
Mini Cooper Photo Opportunity
Have you always wanted to sit inside a Mini Cooper? Well now’s your chance! The classic British car will be located outside House of Fraser at Eden Shopping Centre from Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June.
Come along, take a seat and have your picture taken and printed to take home as a special Platinum Jubilee keepsake.
Polka Dot Trio
Join Eden on Saturday 4th June to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with The Polka Dots. The close harmony swing trio will be performing a modern twist on classic 1940’s & 1950’s tunes, from Glenn Miller to The Andrews Sisters and more.
